THE BLOOMS TAXONOMY -
Many years ago, an educator named Benjamin Bloom developed a classification system we now refer to asBloom's Taxonomyto assist teachers in recognizing their various levels of question-asking (among other things). The system contains six levels, which are arranged in hierarchical form, moving from the lowest level of cognition (thinking) to the highest level of cognition (or from the least complex to the most complex):Knowledge/ Remembering Comprehension/ understand Application/ applyAnalysis / analyze Synthesis /evaluateEvaluation/ create(sourced from : https://www.teachervision.com/teaching-strategies/levels-questions-blooms-taxonomy) There are key words to use for each section. the picture below will explain the key words to each classification: how will i use this in the classroom: This is very important to know the students in my class. it also will aid in my lesson planning.
