The task was to create a blog was given. like most things creating a blog has its challenges. However, it all starts with an idea.
They are several easy steps in creating a blog using blogger.com, here is a 4 minuet video tutorial.

a few challenges i faced were:- Adding pages (a gadget)
- creating a page
- finding a blog theme that shows my personality.
- changing the colour of the fonts
- changing the layout
My solution
- adding a gadget - first step is to locate layout in the task bar. after clicking it look for add gadget. after finding"add gadget " a option bar pops up and u search for pages.
after selecting pages you are then directed to another pop up box
ensure the word pages is added them ensure to select "home" in pages to show. this will ensure that the pages gadget will be displayed on the home page. 
at the end save and preview.
VICTORY!!!!!
with the aid of my classmate and co-author i was able to overcome my challenges.
